Kit Inox is the same certified penetration as Kit Standard, built in full 316L stainless steel instead of mixed steel/aluminium construction. That material choice matters in two situations: aggressive marine or chemical-process environments where a standard steel flange would corrode over the vessel or plant's service life, and aluminium hulls, where a dissimilar-metal weld joint against ordinary steel creates a galvanic corrosion risk at the penetration. 316L removes both problems — it's corrosion-resistant in salt and chemical exposure, and compatible with aluminium hull welding without the galvanic pairing issue. Installation, fire rating, and watertight performance are otherwise identical to Kit Standard: single-weld, pre-assembled, A60 to 1.000°C for 60 minutes, 2 bar watertight for 60 minutes, across DN32 to DN1000. Specify Kit Inox by default for aluminium superstructure work or any chemical/process installation; Kit Standard's steel/aluminium construction is sufficient for a conventional steel-hull vessel where corrosion exposure is normal.
