Emergency Hatch solves a problem the other kits don't: an emergency generator exhaust that has to exit through the main deck, in a location where the pipe route can't be finalised until the generator itself is installed. Instead of a fixed weld-in penetration, the Hell-Sea passage system sits inside a hatch box mounted on the deck, and the hatch door opens automatically via a certified IP66 solenoid when the emergency generator starts. That keeps the deck penetration sealed and weathertight during normal operation, and open only when the backup power system is actually running — which matters for SOLAS-driven emergency generator installations where the exhaust path can't be a permanent hole in the deck. The system covers DN32 to DN250 as standard, with custom diameters available on request for larger emergency gensets. It still carries the same MED A60 fire-resistance baseline as the rest of the range, so class surveyors reviewing the emergency power system see one certification standard across the whole exhaust path, not a special case.
